I'm chopping my hair and need your help!

I've decided to make a difference by cutting and donating my hair! It will be made into a wig for someone who has lost their hair due to a medical condition.

I’ll be chopping off 36cm on 23rd June 2020. I’m not expecting to raise a lot of money, given the short notice and current financial climate... but it would be nice to send some $$$ with my hair donation!

Wigs cost families up to $6,000 and only last 1-2 years. This means families can end up spending tens of thousands just on wigs, when their money may be needed elsewhere. By making a donation to Variety - the Children's Charity, you can help provide a wig or other vital equipment to a child in need.

Thank you everyone for your support! The cockatoos think my new do is pretty spectacular.

I am only $90 away from reaching $1500, and would love to hit the goal!

On the eve of the new financial year, please consider giving a donation and get tax back almost straight away ;)

37cm chopped by the amazing Amanda at The Salon @ 91!

It's gonna take me a while to get used to this styling thing instead of just throwing it in a pony tail.

Postage pack purchased and now just have to pop it in the post.

I can't believe we have raised almost $1000 in just two days. Such a fantastic response from all my friends and family. Thank you everyone!

I will leave the fundraising page up for a few more days just in case anyone wants to make a donation and get us over the $1000 mark!
