My hair is all going to go!!
Hi All,
As many of you may know Cancer specifically is a topic very near to my heart as it has affected many of my family members.
This October 27th I will be chopping off all my hair and donating it to the Variety - Hair with Heart programme. On the day I will be honouring the memory of their fight agains cancer by wearing pins with their name and cancer ribbon.
I will also be raising money for the Variety childerens charity so they can continue to do great work.
I'll be chopping off more than 45cm of my hair which can then be used to make a wig for someone who has lost their hair due to an illness or medical condition.
A wig can make someone feel a bit better about themselves during a difficult time such as undergoing medical treatment.
After the Chop I am planning to dye my hair again. I would be happy to let the biggest donator choose the colour!
