I'm chopping my hair and need your help!

I’ve made the decision once again to make a difference by cutting and donating my hair to be made into a wig for someone who has lost theirs due to a medical condition. This will be my second time around, and it's been 2 years since my last big chop!


On 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟳𝘁𝗵, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰, I'll be cutting off 𝟯𝟱.𝟱 𝗰𝗺 my hair.

Wigs can cost families up to $6,000 and only last 1-2 years, meaning families can spend tens of thousands over time. By donating to 𝗩𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆 – 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻’𝘀 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆, you can help provide wigs or other essential equipment to a child in need.

We’ve moved the date to this coming Sunday due to family commitments. Huge thanks to those who have generously donated already—I'm just $11 away from my $1,000 goal!

Hi everyone ☺️

You might have heard Alex will be chopping off her hair once again and donating it to Variety - the Children’s Charity! Her hair will be used to make wigs for those who have lost their hair due to a medical condition.

Variety helps thousands of kids who are sick, experiencing disadvantage, or living with a disability to live, laugh and learn through various grants and programs including granting wigs to kids that have lost their hair due to a medical condition, for example, alopecia. 

Wigs give these kids, like Kyla https://youtu.be/ncibCWGnEo , more confidence and better self-esteem so they can feel like themselves again. But wigs can cost thousands and last only 1-2 years.

Alex is aiming to raise $1000 this time round. Please don’t be shy, every little bit counts!
