I'm donating my hair and I need your help!

I have made the decision to make a difference by cutting and donating my hair to be made into a wig for someone who has lost their hair due to a medical condition.

I'll be chopping off 35cm on the 3rd of November 2020. ✂

Wigs cost families up to $6,000, lasting 1-2 years, meaning families can spend tens of thousands of dollars on the purchase of wigs throughout a child’s youth. By making a donation to Variety - the Children's Charity, you can help provide a wig or other vital equipment to a child in need. ❤

I'm looking forward to having a shorter hairstyle for a change! I'm excited to donate hair so a girl like me can have her own wig. Thank you for helping me with my fundraising 😊!

Hey Marika, This is such an awesome thing to do. I am a teacher and I have known a couple of students with alopecia. It is tough to feel so very different and also very expensive to get a wig. One of my students was able to get a wig made and it was life changing for her. She grew in confidence and actually came to understand why God had made her the way she was.
