I'm chopping my hair and need your help!
So there's a few of you that know already, but I have made the decision to make a difference by growing my long hair and donating it. It will be made into a wig for someone who has lost their hair due to a medical condition. I was inspired by a blind Youtuber and speaker, Molly Burke!
I'll be chopping off roughly 35.5cm on 2nd December 2021.
If you know me, you know I've always had long hair but I think it's time for someone else to enjoy the luxury of my hair. I've been growing my hair since the last proper haircut back in 2018, with trims here and there. Covid-19 just so happened to be another excuse to keep growing it.
Wigs cost families up to $6,000, lasting 1-2 years, meaning families can spend tens of thousands of dollars on the purchase of wigs throughout a child’s youth.
