I'm chopping my hair and need your help!
I have made the decision to make a difference by cutting and donating my hair to be made into a wig for someone who has lost their hair due to a medical condition.
I have had long hair for several years and have often taken it for granted. Many children lose there hair whilst also going through many other health implications at the same time. This would be a lot for them to go through at once and I believe that them getting a wig would help them to be more confident and have a more positive outlook on their health and overall life.
I'll be chopping off around 36 cm (minimum 35.5) on the 27th of January 2021.
Wigs cost families up to $6,000, lasting 1-2 years, meaning families can spend tens of thousands of dollars on the purchase of wigs throughout a child’s youth.
