I'm cutting my hair off for the Hair with Heart challenge and I need your help!
My whole life people have marvelled at my long, thick, straight hair. It's become part of my identity whether in my signatory bun or controversial cane rows! I've tried countless styles and have always been able to grow it effortlessly.
But not every kid gets that luxury.
Every day, children face hair loss due to medical conditions like alopecia, cancer treatments, and severe burns. And while hair might seem like a small thing, to a child, it can mean everything.
It’s their confidence. Their self-expression. It's them blending in with all the other kids.
That’s why I’m donating my hair and raising money (they cost $6000 to make!) to provide a high-quality, custom-made hair replacement to a kid who needs it.
These wigs aren’t cosmetic extras. They’re life-changing. And they’re made possible entirely through donations from people like you and me.
As I stride into my 40th year it's time to bid the mane farewell and give the gift of confidence. If you’ve ever felt empowered by a good hair day, or if you know what it means to feel seen and confident in your own skin—then you understand why this matters.
