I'm doing the Hair with Heart challenge and I need your help!

I’ve made the decision to take on the Hair with Heart challenge and change lives!

Variety – The Children’s Charity supports kids who are sick, experiencing disadvantage or living with a disability.

I will be fundraising to help raise vital funds for Australian kids in need, including kids who are experiencing permanent hair loss from medical conditions such as alopecia and cancer.

Every gift, no matter the amount, makes a difference.

Supporting Logan’s goal

Wednesday 8th Apr
About 9 months ago Logan told his parents he wanted to donate his hair to make wigs for kids with cancer. A trip to the hairdresser was met with enthusiasm and the advice that it just wasn’t quite long enough yet. 

Logan didn’t throw out his goal, he kept growing it. More trips to the hairdresser and still not long enough. Some bits were 20cm but some were a bit shorter. He wanted to make sure he got this right. 

In December he was told about another 3-6 months, so he kept growing it. This came with its own challenges, such as having to tie his hair back at school, even though he prefers to wear it out. Again he didn’t give up, he kept growing it and wearing it back at school cos he wanted to reach the goal. 

And here we are. In a few weeks Logan will donate his hair! 

His parents are so proud of his generosity, perseverance and now his endeavours to raise funds as well. We love your kind heart Logan!
