We are chopping our hair and need your help!

Eva and I have been growing our hair for a long time! We have made the decision to make a difference by cutting and donating our hair to be made into wigs for someone who has lost their hair due to a medical condition.

Eva and I will be chopping off 85cm of hair combined to donate! (Eva 34cm and me 50 cm) on the 28th of June 2021

Wigs cost families up to $6,000, lasting 1-2 years, meaning families can spend tens of thousands of dollars on the purchase of wigs throughout a child’s youth. By making a donation to Variety - the Children's Charity, you can help provide a wig or other vital equipment to a child in need. Thank you for helping kids in need.

Thursday 17th Jun
Hi everyone! 
This afternoon my super talented friend Sarah will be chopping 50 cm off my hair for The variety- Hair With Heart! Please also take a second to check out her amazing businesses sorelle and co. On insta, fb or her website below! 
Her jewellery pieces are GORGEOUS! 

Depending how chaotic it is with my little ones around we will either live stream or record the big chop! 
I’m feeling super nervous but also really proud that Eva and I can do something like this together! We never could have done this without your support!

It’s happening! 
Eva’s date is locked in for this Friday! 
Eva will be chopping off her locks with all her friends in class! 

Evas teachers have been such a great support to Eva in the lead up to Friday!

We reached out goal! In fact we surpassed it! How amazing is that! We only have you to thank! As promised, our chop will move ahead of schedule- just waiting for lockdown restrictions to ease.

Eva and I are overwhelmed by how generous you all have been! Your donations have not gone unnoticed and we can’t thank you enough for supporting us and hair with heart! 

Eva and I have decided to raise our goal and will work really hard to reach $1500! If we reach this goal soon we will also bring forward our date of the big chop!

Thursday 20th May
Eva: Eva has only ever had her hair trimmed ever so slightly 3 times in her life! 
Liz: I have been growing my hair for almost 11 years now and have only had 3 trims along the way! 

Our hair is pretty special to us but we know it could be more special to children who have lost theirs ❤️
