I'm chopping my hair and need your help!

I have made the decision to make a difference by cutting and donating my hair to be made into a wig for someone who has lost their hair due to a medical condition.

I'll be chopping off 35.5cm during May 2021.

Wigs cost families up to $6,000, lasting 1-2 years, meaning families can spend tens of thousands of dollars on the purchase of wigs throughout a child’s youth. By making a donation to Variety - the Children's Charity, you can help provide a wig or other vital equipment to a child in need. Thank you for helping kids in need.

After lockdown forced me to reschedule the last haircut, its finally been done! 

Thank you to everyone who has offered their support so far.

How long are we at?

Sunday 7th Mar
My hair is definitely getting pretty close to being long enough to chop! This is my current length of my hair as of the date of this blog post, and as you can see its long enough to become a choking hazard :o 

Now that the time is coming closer we will be looking for all the short hair inspo!

So when is the cut happening?

Thursday 4th Feb
The date for my cut keeps getting pushed later and later and I'm constantly getting the question, "When are you finally going to do it??"

Well unfortunately my hair has a mind of its own as has slowed down its growing speed right as we have reached the final stretch!

My hope is to cut it some time during March or April, but I need to make sure majority of my hair is atleast 35.5cm long. That makes it tricky with the few left over layers I still have. But I don't want to push it much longer than that so hopefully April will be the latest it happens.
