I'm going to cut my hair short and donate it to HairWithHeart! It will be used to make wigs for kids who have lost their hair due to a medical condition, such as alopecia. I'll be chopping off about 35cm on the 2nd of April.
Wigs can cost up to $6000 and have to be replaced every 2-3 years. This means that families often spend tens of thousands of dollars on wigs for their child, or are unable to afford them at all. However, by making a donation to Variety - the Children's Charity, you can help provide a wig or other essential equipment to help a child in need. Anything you give will help!
