The Big Chop is Coming!
On March 8, I’ll be cutting off 40-50 cm of my hair to donate to Variety – The Children’s Charity, where it will be made into a wig for a child who has lost their hair due to a medical condition.
Wigs can cost families up to $6,000 and only last 1-2 years, meaning some families spend tens of thousands of dollars throughout a child’s youth. But a wig is so much more than just hair—it can help restore a child’s confidence, self-esteem, and sense of normalcy.
If you’ve ever thought about donating your hair or supporting Variety, I highly recommend looking into it. Even a small gesture can make a world of difference.
I can’t wait for the big chop and to know this hair will go toward something truly meaningful!
