I'm chopping my hair and would love your support!
It's been nearly 4 years since the last big chop (and just under 3.5 years since the last haircut of any kind). I've decided my hair is finally long enough to do it all again. I will be donating my hair so that it can be made into a wig for someone who has lost their hair due to a medical condition. My hair is officially the longest that it has ever been... so I'm hoping I can preserve a little bit more length this time around!
This July, I'll be chopping off approximately 36cm of my curly locks, in support of Variety's 'Hair with Heart' campaign.
Wigs cost families up to $6,000, lasting 1-2 years, meaning families can spend tens of thousands of dollars on the purchase of wigs throughout a child’s youth.
