Evangelene is chopping her hair and needs your help!

Evangelene has made the decision to make a difference by cutting and donating her hair to be made into a wig for someone who has lost their hair due to a medical condition.

Evangelene will be chopping off 40cm on Friday 8th January 2021. 

Wigs cost families up to $6,000, lasting 1-2 years, meaning families can spend tens of thousands of dollars on the purchase of wigs throughout a child’s youth. By making a donation to Variety - the Children's Charity, you can help provide a wig or other vital equipment to a child in need. Thank you for helping kids in need.

Friday 8th Jan
Today Evangelene cut over 40cm of her hair to donate to Variety 🥰 

This morning before the big cut, Evangelene said she was nervous but excited! 

Now that she has had the big chop, Evangelene feels light and cool, saying that everyone will think she’s a different person when she goes back to school. When I played the video back to Evangelene, she got emotional. When I asked her if she misses her hair, she said she did, but she was crying because she is just so happy she can help someone else who really needs her hair more than she does 🥰 

We are so very proud of our girl and are so grateful for every who has supported  Lene’s journey for her big chop! Now that it’s over, it’s still not too late to donate 🥰🥰

A date and Time has been set 🥰

We have locked in 9.30am Friday 8th January for Evangelene’s big chop 🥰 
I will be taking a video of the big chop that I will share on the Socials and also before and after photos 🥰 
Evangelene can’t wait and is extremely grateful for everyones support both in kind words and donations 🥰🥰

In under 24 hours, Lene has not only achieved her donation goal, she has doubled it 🤭🎉🥰 
Thank you to everyone who has donated! We just might be able to move Lene’s big chop to an earlier date 🥰

Wednesday 30th Dec
We decided on a date today  - Evangelene will be chopping 40cm of her hair on 16th January. Evangelene chose the date and then when she looked at the calendar she said she can’t wait that long because there is a little girl somewhere waiting for her hair 🥰
