I'm chopping my hair and need your help!
I have made the decision to make a difference by cutting and donating my hair to be made into a wig for someone who has lost their hair due to a medical condition.
I'll be chopping off 38cms.
Wigs cost families up to $6,000, lasting 1-2 years, meaning families can spend tens of thousands of dollars on the purchase of wigs throughout a child’s youth. By making a donation to Variety - the Children's Charity, you can help provide a wig or other vital equipment to a child in need. Thank you for helping kids in need.
My Updates
Why this charity and why my hair?
Friday 26th May When I was a teenager a beautiful friend lost her fight to Leukaemia. She was the most courageous young girl I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing. While I only knew Loren a short time she has left such an impression on me and I will never ever forget how brave, positive and caring she was! Being a teenage girl and losing your hair while fighting such an unforgiving illness you’d think she’d have nothing to smile about, but every time I saw her she always had such a warm and friendly smile!!If I can help change just one young persons life in my lifetime it would give me so much pleasure.
If you have a few dollars please help me raise much needed funds for this amazing foundation x
