I’ve made the decision to take on the Hair with Heart challenge and change lives!
Variety – The Children’s Charity supports kids who are sick, experiencing disadvantage or living with a disability. As part of their 'Hair with Heart' program, they collect long hair to make wigs for kids who've lost theirs (> 35.5cm for longer wigs, and >20cm for shorter wigs).
This 1st of March, I chopped off ~40cm of my hair,.
This is my second time growing and donating my hair, harvesting 4 years of patient waiting! So, I thought, why leave it at that, why not fundraise?
I will be fundraising to help raise vital funds for Australian kids in need, including kids who are experiencing permanent hair loss from medical conditions such as alopecia and cancer.
