I'm chopping my hair and need your help!

I have made the decision to make a difference by cutting and donating my hair to be made into a wig for someone who has lost their hair due to a medical condition.

I'll be chopping off approximately 36cm of length sometime (hopefully) in June 2021.

Wigs cost families up to $6,000, lasting 1-2 years, meaning families can spend tens of thousands of dollars on the purchase of wigs throughout a child’s youth. By making a donation to Variety - the Children's Charity, you can help provide a wig or other vital equipment to a child in need. Thank you for helping kids in need.

We’re out of lockdown so today’s the day. Just a few hours to go, I can’t wait. Will share before, during and after photos tonight :) 

Change of plans

Thursday 1st Jul
So unfortunately due to the current covid lockdown in my area I can no longer chop my hair today. We are currently rescheduled for this Saturday afternoon so long as the lockdown doesn’t continue so I hope to post before and afters Saturday night. 

Nearly chop time!

Sunday 27th Jun
4 days to go until the big chop! I am so super excited to start fresh with my hair as well helping someone in need. As they always say “one mans trash is another mans treasure” and while my hair isn’t technically trash, it is definitely not wanted anymore so why not give it to someone that does want and need it. The countdown is on 

Time For A Change

Thursday 27th May
I’ve always loved long hair and for most of my life have had fairly long hair. My current hair length is down to the bottom of my back. I have done the big chop a few times before but this time I want to do it to help someone else. And also to give myself a fresh start. I’ve just become a 2nd time mum and feel even more compelled to help others, especially children. So this is my small sacrifice to try and help bring some happiness to another. I hope you can all get behind me whether just moral support or kind donations id really love to share this journey with you all. Thank you xx
