I'm doing the Hair with Heart challenge and I need your help!
Hi, I’m Niam!
I’ve been growing my hair all year because I wanted to help another child.
Nanna and I used to talk about how everyone has their own superpower. We realised that my ability to grow hair so quickly was mine. It’s something that happens naturally - even while I’m asleep! If something so easy for me could make another child smile and feel more confident, then I knew I wanted to donate it.
Soon I’ll be cutting off my hair to donate to Hair with Heart, where it will help create a wig for a child who has lost their hair because of cancer, alopecia or another medical condition.
While I’m donating my hair, I’m also raising money for Variety – the Children’s Charity to help support Australian children who are sick, living with disability or facing disadvantage.
