Khamploy's Hair with Heart challenge

I'm chopping my hair and need your help!

I have made the decision to make a difference by cutting and donating my hair to be made into a wig for someone who has lost their hair due to a medical condition.

I'll be chopping off (insert how many cms/in you'll be donating - min 35.5cm) on (insert the date of your big chop, or an approximate date or month if you're not sure).

Wigs cost families up to $6,000, lasting 1-2 years, meaning families can spend tens of thousands of dollars on the purchase of wigs throughout a child’s youth. By making a donation to Variety - the Children's Charity, you can help provide a wig or other vital equipment to a child in need. Thank you for helping kids in need.

Lost to giving love

Saturday 14th Nov
My name is Khamploy. You can call me Ploy. I'm from Thailand and right now I live with my husband. We have a beautiful daughter together.

Two years ago, my mother passed away with cancer. She was really a champ and everyone knew how strong she was when she battled with the cancer.

My mother went through lots of medical treatment. She couldn't eat and sit up. She'd lost weight and her hair.

I stayed with her for a month in a hospital in Thailand and then flew back to Australia.

Back then, she always told me that if she passed away, just put her wig on for her as she wanted to look good for her last journey.

My mother was a very good woman. She was kind and honest. After her funeral, I wanted to do something for her just to be remembered by because she always gave support to people who were in the same situation like her.

I waited for 2 years for my hair to grow into good lenght and shedded dying colour off, then I got it cut.

Right now, I am growing my hair back and hopefully by mid 2021, it will be in good lenght to cut off for hair donation.

Please do support me and people have hard times. Your little action can help and change their day.

Thank you

Thanks for all the support
