I'm chopping my hair and need your help!
Aloha friends and family,
I'll be donating my hair in a few months to be made into a wig for someone who has lost their hair due to a medical condition.
I'll be chopping off around 36cm in roughly May, or when it's long enough.
I won't be shaving my hair as I'm just not brave enough, however I am almost at the stage where I can donate it and it'll still be long enough for at least a little bob.
Wigs cost families up to $6,000, lasting 1-2 years, meaning families can spend tens of thousands of dollars on the purchase of wigs throughout a child’s youth. Tuesday 18th Jan Well, I'll tell you why. I just really don't like going to the hair dressers, I don't know why, but I just don't. So much so that I once let my partner cut my hair after a few to many juices. I said an inch and he took off, well, a mile! Never again 😂 Since then, I've grown it and it's taken me almost 3 years for it to get this long. I didn't want it to go to waste so I've done some research, and have seen a lot in my profession, so why not donate it and raise a little bit of money in the mean time.
