I'm doing the Hair with Heart challenge and I need your help!
I’ve made the decision to take on the Hair with Heart challenge and change lives!
Variety – The Children’s Charity supports kids who are sick, experiencing disadvantage or living with a disability.
I will be fundraising to help raise vital funds for Australian kids in need, including kids who are experiencing permanent hair loss from medical conditions such as alopecia and cancer.
Every gift, no matter the amount, makes a difference.

Forest of Wisdom has always been more than a shop — it’s a community.

When we opened the doors back in December 2016, I had just shaved my head and donated my hair. Since that day, I’ve been growing it with one purpose in mind: to donate it again.
As Forest of Wisdom prepares to close on 29 March 2026, I’ll be cutting my hair once more and donating it to Variety – Hair with Heart, a charity that helps create wigs for children living with medical hair loss. This time, I’m also fundraising, with a goal of $2,500 to support kids in need.
Variety’s programs make a real difference. Any donations or funds raised will go directly towards Variety's grants and programs and help give kids in need a fair go. This could mean purchasing a new wheelchair for a child with a disability or buying school uniforms for kids who are doing it tough.
