Lopping Off My Lockdown Locks!
I have made the decision to make a difference by cutting off my corona coiffure and donating the hair to be made into a wig for a young person who has lost their hair due to a medical condition.
I'm turning 26 and decided it's time for a change. My hair has reached a critical mass and become quite unweildly. So on Sunday July 18th 2021, I'll trim my troublesome tresses by at least 14 inches (35.5 cm) and give the hair to someone who'll appreciate it more.
Donating the hair is one thing, but converting it to a wig is another. It can cost several thousand dollars to make a wig for a child in need. By making a donation to Variety - the Children's Charity, you can not only help provide wigs for other children, but also other vital equipment to a child in need.
