Katherine's Hair with Heart challenge

I'm chopping my hair and need your help!

I have made the decision to make a difference by cutting and donating my hair to be made into a wig for someone who has lost their hair due to a medical condition.

I'll be chopping off (insert how many cms/in you'll be donating - min 35.5cm) on (insert the date of your big chop, or an approximate date or month if you're not sure).

Wigs cost families up to $6,000, lasting 1-2 years, meaning families can spend tens of thousands of dollars on the purchase of wigs throughout a child’s youth. By making a donation to Variety - the Children's Charity, you can help provide a wig or other vital equipment to a child in need. Thank you for helping kids in need.

My Updates

I donated my hair - Tôi đã hiến tóc ^^

Thursday 6th Jan
Hi, my name is Katherine and I am an international student in Australia, born in Vietnam. This is my story of donating my hair ^^
In 2021, I learned a lot, and 2021 was full of lessons for me. In this year, I feel that I have grown up and experienced many things that make me able to learn valuable lessons. Among them are the projects I have cherished for a long time, such as Donating Hair. I have been planning to donate hair for nearly 2 years to research more and take care of my hair to be healthier and longer. I want to contribute to the community, so donating my hair will help children with cancer or Alopecia have hair of their own, making them feel happy because I think, everyone should have the chance to feel good about themselves. One day, I found Variety - the Children’s Charity provides wigs to kids who have lost their hair due to Alopecia or another long-term medical condition that cause hair loss. I have trusted and given my gift to this organisation because this opportunity would be honoured to send a gift from myself for someone. This is a fundraising page for children going through serious illnesses. For a happier future for them, you can donate from $5 to $10 to the children to help the organisation. I will mention them all below the post. The feeling of giving is very wonderful and proud. I hope what I will inspire everyone around me and those reading this post to have more motivation to help others because: Giving for others is a Gift to Yourself. Thank you 2021 and Hello 2022. May the tears I cried in 2021 water the seed I am planting in 2022, hehe. I hope the same will happen to you, my friends <3
