I'm chopping my hair and need your help!
I’ve made the decision to take the big chop and change lives!
Variety – the Children’s Charity supports kids who are sick, experiencing disadvantage or living with a disability.
I will be donating my hair to help provide a wig to someone who has lost their hair, as well as raising vital funds for kids in need.
Every gift, no matter the amount, makes a difference.

Rare Disease Day chop
Thursday 29th FebI did it!!! 🎉 Today, on Rare Disease Day, I chopped off 17 inches of my hair to raise awareness. As a Myasthenia Gravis warrior, I understand the challenges faced by those battling rare diseases. Having experienced firsthand how tough and isolating it can be, I’m determined to spread love and kindness to those who need it most. While I may not be able to donate blood, I’m grateful for the opportunity to donate hair, and I hope to bring a smile to someone’s face with this simple act. Let’s make the cut, and together, we can make a difference- one haircut at a time. 💇🏻♀️ Here’s to creating ripples of kindness that will hopefully be the ray of hope for those in need. 🌞 Remember, you are not alone.
