Encourage my hair CHOP! Help me raise funds for kids in need!

I have made the decision to cut and donate my hair to be made into a wig for someone who has lost their hair due to a medical condition.

I'll be chopping off 35.5cm of my hair on 20th February.

Please encourage my chop by helping me raise funds to support children with medical conditions. 

Wigs cost families up to $6,000, lasting 1-2 years, meaning families can spend tens of thousands of dollars on the purchase of wigs throughout a child’s youth. By making a donation to Variety - the Children's Charity, you can help provide a wig or other vital equipment to a child in need. Thank you for helping kids in need!!! <3>

The Chop

Saturday 20th Feb
Hey everyone! The long contemplated decision has been put into action! 
I’ve gone through with the chop! It was equally nerve wrecking and liberating!
As I sat on the chair and mumbled to the hairdresser that I was donating my hair, I thought “Okay! Here we go”. He swiftly braided my hair and snip, snip, snip. Next thing you know, the braided hair was on the work bench in front of me. I let out a nervous giggle and the lady next to me, minding her own business, getting her hair blown dry, turned to look and let out a little muffled gasp. We exchanged a smile. That was it. My hair is now in braid, ready to be placed in an envelope and posted. 
One step forward. 
Dear hair, thank you for all the snagged hair moments, all the headaches you’ve caused me when I had you up in a pony tail. 
I guess I should credit you for all the compliments I get too. Now... hair, be good, become a nice wig and help others in receiving those compliments to make them feel good about themselves too.
