I'm chopping my hair and need your help!
I have made the decision to make a difference by cutting and donating my hair to be made into a wig for someone who has lost their hair due to a medical condition.
In 2015 we lost both my amazing mother and my beautiful cousin to cancer. During the course of both of their fights, they had the privilege of being able to be supplied with gorgeous wigs after losing hair from radiation and chemotherapy. Seeing how much this helped their confidence and happiness made me want to help others going through the same, and help give back to the charities that helped us.
So after many years of growing and growing my locks, I'll be raising donations and eventually chopping off at least 14 inches on 28th May 2021 or at $1000 (whichever comes first).
Wigs cost families up to $6,000, lasting 1-2 years, meaning families can spend tens of thousands of dollars on the purchase of wigs throughout a child’s youth.
