I've chopped my hair off so you wouldn't have to!

On Friday 21st February 2025, I made the decision to take the big chop and change lives!

Variety – the Children’s Charity supports kids who are sick, experiencing disadvantage or living with a disability.

I will be donating my hair to help provide a wig to someone who has lost their hair, as well as raising vital funds for kids in need.

I am so grateful to God that I am healthy enough to grow my hair out as some incredibly sick kids can't. Even if you can't donate your hair, a financial donation might make a world of a difference.

Every gift, no matter the amount, makes a difference.

I am so blessed to know that I have such supportive friends who are contributing to what was for me, an easy haircut decision.

I am blown away knowing that I have such loving, kind, and generous friends who are open to a charity like Variety to support disadvantaged children. 

My mere $300 goal has been doubled in a matter of days. This is truly all thanks to you.

If you know me, I am not the kind to ask for help, but I have been so genuinely so heartfelt that you have all been a part of this.

Wow not even 2 hours into making this page and we've smashed my initial goal!

I'm humbled and grateful that I have such generous friends who are helping me support this charity!

I am not increasing my target for fundraising as I was always going to chop my hair off, but if you'd like to still contribute it'll be a great win for all.

If you can't donate, I ask you guys to look through the impact report that Variety has and see what work that they have completed. They do way more than wigs and help out kids through grants, scholarships and programs. Maybe this can plant a seed in your mind to see what you may be able to give that's not monetary.
