I'm chopping my hair and need your help!
As some of you may know I have 3 different auto immune diseases and one of them is lupus, which unfortunately will mean that one day I might lose my hair, so while I still have my hair I want to do a good deed.
I have made the decision to make a difference by cutting and donating my hair to be made into a wig for someone who has lost their hair due to a medical condition.
I'll be chopping off 36 cms of hair and the big chop will take place on the 8th of January.
Wigs cost families up to $6,000, lasting 1-2 years, meaning families can spend tens of thousands of dollars on the purchase of wigs throughout a child’s youth.
