I'm shaving my head, donating my hair, and need your help!

Hi all! My name is Julia (if you don’t know me already) and I am shaving my head and donating all my hair to Variety.

Variety – the Children’s Charity supports kids who are sick, experiencing disadvantage or living with a disability.

I am doing this for a few reasons:
- I would like to contribute and help a charity such as Variety who change so many children’s lives.
- I’m turning 21 years old and would like that to mean something worthwhile and commemorate the occasion. 
- I’ve always wanted to shave my head but have always been too scared to.
- I have never dyed my hair and I rarely use heat tools to style and it seems a shame to waste such a healthy resource when it could be shared with people who need it more :)
 
I am also interested in providing a more fiscal approach to support Variety kids in other ways. If you agree with my sentiments and would like to support me through this process any donation would be appreciated! 

Shout out to Angela at Urban Hair for supporting me in this process and through all my other experiments with my hair! 

My hair from the shave will help provide a wig to someone who has lost their hair, as well as raising vital funds for kids in need.
