Help me change kid's lives with Variety's Hair with Heart!
I have always taken my long hair for granted, so I am humbled to make a difference by donating it to Variety Hair with Heart to be made into a wig for someone who has lost their hair.
Losing your hair can have profound psychological effects, particularly through childhood and adolescence. One wig can cost up to $6,000 and lasts two to three years, so the cost is prohibitive for many families. Variety - the Children's Charity provides grants for kids across Australia who have lost their hair due to medical conditions.
Knowing that I wanted to donate my hair to this special cause, I have been consciously taking extra care of my hair since my last chop to make sure it is healthy and good quality for the recipient.
