Goodbye Hair!!
After talking about it for what seems like an eternity, I have finally made the decision and booked an appointment to cut and donate my hair to be made into a wig for someone who has lost their own due to a medical condition.
I've had long hair for most of my life so it's been a defining part of my identify. I have a large sense of pride around my hair, and I know the people close to me love it too (Zac, I'm really sorry) but that's why I think it would be really special to share it with someone who hasn't been as lucky have.
SO, come June I'll be chopping off roughly 40cm, just before my 27th birthday!!
