I'm chopping my hair! and I'm going to need your help ❤️
In 2019, I decided to do the big chop and donate my hair to Hair with Heart to make wigs for cancer patients. Hair donations are such a rewarding way to give back to those in need, and for cancer patients suffering from hair loss, these wigs can have such a big effect on their self-esteem and confidence, and can help them regain their sense of identity again :)
Once again, I am deciding to make a difference by cutting and donating my hair to be made into a wig for someone who has lost their hair due to this medical condition, alongside my little sister Joanne. We'll be chopping my hair on September 3rd, 2023.
On top of that, wigs are quite costly and can cost families up to $6,000, lasting 1-2 years, meaning families can spend tens of thousands of dollars on the purchase of wigs throughout a child’s youth. By donating to Variety - the Children's Charity, you can help provide a wig or other vital equipment to a child in need. Money raised will be used to help kids who are sick and are experiencing disadvantages or living with a disability.
