I'm chopping my hair and need your help!

I have made the decision to make a difference by cutting and donating my hair to be made into a wig for someone who has lost their hair due to a medical condition.

I'll be chopping off a minimum of 40cm on Friday 5th March, 2021. 

Wigs cost families up to $6,000, lasting 1-2 years, meaning families can spend tens of thousands of dollars on the purchase of wigs throughout a child’s youth. By making a donation to Variety - the Children's Charity, you can help provide a wig or other vital equipment to a child in need. Thank you for helping kids in need.

Friday 5th Mar
They day has arrived and the big chop happened! We are so excited to send off over 40cm in length of hair, we think it will make a beautiful wig for a child in need. 

Thank you to Variety's Hair with Heart for allowing us the opportunity to contribute towards a worthy cause and thank you everyone for your donations, support and words of encouragement.

The day is pretty much here! We had to postpone from last Friday but it is finally happening around 3pm WA time. 

It's not too late to make a donation and help make a difference to a child's life.

Wow everyone! We cannot thank our donors enough for your generosity. We didn't want to be too presumptuous so we initially set a goal of $500 but with weeks left till the big chop we are increasing the goal and doing what we can to raise funds for this worthy cause. 

It warms our heart to have your support and kind words of encouragement. Knowing a child could get a beautiful wig from this cut is one thing but knowing we can also help fund that is even more amazing.
