I'm chopping my hair and need your help!

I have made the decision to make a difference by cutting and donating my hair to be made into a wig for someone who has lost their hair due to a medical condition.

I'll be chopping off 35cm on 25th September 2020.

Wigs cost families up to $6,000, lasting 1-2 years, meaning families can spend tens of thousands of dollars on the purchase of wigs throughout a child’s youth. By making a donation to Variety - the Children's Charity, you can help provide a wig or other vital equipment to a child in need. Thank you for helping kids in need.

YAYYYYY I did it!

Saturday 26th Sep
Yay, I did the big chop and had all my hair cut off. 
To make sure we got all of my hair, the hairdresser put in lots of little ponytails. Once the ponytails were all in, she cut them all off. She styled and washed my new short hair.
I was excited and a bit nervous, but afterwards I felt very happy. 
A nice old lady who was sitting next to me in the hairdresser and watched me getting my hair cut off, donated $50, I couldnt believe it.
THANK YOU SO SO SO SO SO much to everybody that donated money, I can now donate over $1800 to kids who need it and my hair will be made into a wig.

Holy Communion day

Tuesday 22nd Sep
This picture is on my first Holy Communion. Before we went to church we all had photos. It was very tricky getting the photo because it was hailing and very stormy. 
This was the very last time I got my hair done nicely before getting the big chop soon.

Thursday 10th Sep
So you sooooo much to every one of you who have donated so far. I was going to put a $100 goal and I'm glad I didn't. Now I want to put in a $ 1,500 goal.
It means so much to me and I feel so happy to be helping others.

Friday 4th Sep
Sumo is grey & white and he loves eating food, we call him a Big Boof. Whenever we open the fridge, he always sticks his head in and he hangs around the kitchen waiting for food. He loves ALL dairy even though it's not good for him. But he's such a gorgeous cat.

Suki is all grey and she usually stays upstairs because she is a scardey cat. She is a lot smaller than Sumo. This week she had to wear a cone on her head and had her leg shaved because she had an ingrown claw. Last year Sumo had his leg and tummy shaved because he had an operation.

They are not the only ones having a haircut!! I LOVE my cats.

It's been a busy weekend fundraising. Yesterday I went down my street selling choccie's for my netball club.
