I'm chopping my hair and need your help!

I have made the decision to chop off my ponytail to be made into a wig for someone who has lost their hair due to a medical condition.

I'll be chopping off >35.5cm on the Thursday 23rd July, 2020.

Some of you may be aware that I have been wanting to do this for a while, and since around August 2018 I haven't given my hair a proper snip in order to grow it out for this reason. I have always been troubled by the fact that once someone is diagnosed, there is little I can do to help with the pain that they experience, and this is my small attempt at trying to make one person's experience the slightest bit more manageable. 

Wigs cost families up to $6,000, lasting 1-2 years, meaning families can spend tens of thousands of dollars on the purchase of wigs throughout a child’s youth. By making a donation to Variety - the Children's Charity, you can help provide a wig or other vital equipment to a child in need. Thank you for helping kids in need.

I am aiming to raise $500. Every dollar counts, going towards helping children with a condition resulting in hair loss.
