I'm chopping my hair and would love your support!
My locks will be turned into a wig for a little boy or girl who has lost their hair due to medical conditions (like cancer or alopecia). Not having hair can have such a big impact on your self esteem and mental health, especially during childhood or teenage years. A wig is one way to help make this journey a little easier.
For those who don’t know, wigs are crazy expensive - they can cost up to $6,000 and they only have a shelf life of around 3 years. That’s a massive expense for a family that is already doing it tough, or overrun by medical bills.
By making a donation to Variety - The Children’s Charity, you can help provide a wig or other vital equipment to a child in need.
It’s taken 3 years for me to grow my hair this long, and on Friday I’ll be giving 40cm of it the chop.
