I'm lopping off my lockdown hair & need your support!

Hey friends! 

Over the past couple years I’ve grown about 40cm worth of hair. Now I want to chop it off to be made into a wig for someone who has lost their hair due to a medical condition.

The date is set! I'll be chopping off 40cm next Wednesday 2nd March!

Apart from the hair itself, there are many other costs for children and families. These donations go a long way and mean a lot.

Wigs cost families up to $6,000, lasting 1-2 years, meaning families can spend tens of thousands of dollars on the purchase of wigs throughout a child’s youth. By making a donation to Variety - the Children's Charity, you can help provide a wig or other vital equipment to a child in need.

I want to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart for your incredible donations, generosity, emotional support & kindness. 

Some of you have opened up conversations with me about your personal experiences, and the experiences of your loved ones, and why donating means so much to you. These stories honestly bring tears to my eyes and have made it feel even more real: to know the names and faces of the humans we do this for.

I'm so thankful we have come together as a community to support other people and families going through difficult times, to do what we can to make things even a little bit easier.
