I'm chopping my hair and need your help!

I'm turning 8! And I have made the decision to make a difference by cutting and donating my hair to be made into a wig for someone who has lost their hair due to a medical condition.

I'll be chopping off at least 30cms at the end of the month. The money I raise will go to Variety the Children's charity and my hair will be sent to Sustainable Salons https://sustainablesalons.org/ponytaildonations/. Sustainable Salons collects ponytails and distributes them to charitable organisations like Variety and local wig-makers where they can become wigs for those suffering from medically-induced hair-loss conditions such as Alopecia and cancer or help fund other life-changing programs!

Kayla sat there reading all your messages of support right before the cut and she told me it made her happy (thank you!).

The Morning of the cut

Monday 9th Nov
The morning of Kayla cut saw that she had raised almost $1300. This was already $1000 more than we imagined possible. Kayla's initial hesitation turned into excitement as she waited for the afternoon to come around.

Hi Everyone, 
We've been so shocked at the amount that Kayla has managed to fundraise! This year her dance school will not be having a dance concert due to COVID, so they have spent the last few weekends filming their performance instead. That's now all done and a time has been booked this weekend for the big chop!
