I'm chopping my hair and need your help!
I have made the decision to make a difference by cutting and donating my hair to be made into a wig for someone who has lost their hair due to a medical condition.
I'll be chopping off 35.5cm (not going bald) on the 28th of April 2023 (this coming Friday afternoon). With the help of a few friends from work at ACL Osborne park.
Wigs cost families up to $6,000, lasting 1-2 years, meaning families can spend tens of thousands of dollars on the purchase of wigs throughout a child’s youth. By making a donation to Variety - the Children's Charity, you can help provide a wig or other vital equipment to a child in need.
Any help is valuable enough for those in need.

Friday 28th Apr Today is the day , that I will chop off my hair.
Hair cut day
Sunday 23rd Apr It’s been decided . On the 28th of April (Friday) , my colleagues at ACL Osborne park serology will carry out the very important task of cutting my tied up hair bands following the procedures laid out by variety hair with heart. There will be lots of fun doing it with everyone at work and giving our best moments back to the community. Share
More fundraising opportunity
Sunday 16th Apr With the approval from my workplace to display this fundraising initiative, I have since increased my fundraising target from $500 to $800. Hopefully , more kind souls can join me in donating money to help with this cause in this coming week or two left till my big chop. I’m humbled to be able to give back to the community via resources like my hair and the opportunity to share this experience with others.
Second time round
Thursday 13th Apr Hi peeps, I’ve donated before and am excited to do it again ! The last time I did it was several years back in 2020. I went completely bald because my hair needed to be at least 35 cm long for the chop . But it felt great. Hence , that pushed me to do it again this time. But , I’m not going bald this time , just short haired :) hope you’ll join me in this journey together and help out any way you can . Either way, you’ve been valuable to this process.Thanks for all the support
