🌟 Eliana’s Hair Donation & Fundraiser ✂️💖
After more than three years of growing her hair (with no trims since she turned four!), Eliana is finally ready to donate at least 35.5 cm of her hair to help children who’ve lost theirs from cancer and other medical conditions, including alopecia. Wigs cost families up to $6000 and last 1.5 to 2 years, so the cost is prohibitive for many families. It may not feel that important, but losing hair can have profound psychological effects, particularly throughout childhood and adolescence.
Now, at six and a half, after patiently waiting and resisting every urge to cut her hair, she has finally reached the donation length. To mark this special milestone, we are turning this moment into a fundraising event to support kids going through tough times! Every dollar raised, alongside her generous hair donation, will go toward causes that change the lives of children who are sick or living with disability.

Eliana
loves her long hair. Yet, when asked if she would miss it when she donates at
least 35.5 cm of her hair next month, she answered, “I'll miss my hair a
little... but it's okay as it'll grow back! Another child who's sick might need
it more, and I hope it helps them feel happy and loved."🥲😊
