I'm chopping my hair and would love your help!
I have made the decision to make a difference by cutting and donating my hair to be made into a wig for someone who has lost their hair due to a medical condition.
**** (Cancer is one condition close to Ebony’s heart as her Grandma lost her hair due to treatment a couple of times. Each time Ebony asked if her hair was long enough to cut and donate so Grandma could have some of her hair. Ebony has now suggested as Grandma doesn’t need a wig anymore maybe a child like her would love it just as much). ****
I’ll be chopping off nearly 40cm on Saturday 17th of July!
Wigs cost families up to $6,000, lasting 1-2 years, meaning families can spend tens of thousands of dollars on the purchase of wigs throughout a child’s youth.
