I'm chopping my hair and need your help!
As some of you may have noticed, I have had plain brown hair protruding from my large head for a couple of years now (not my jam at all). My hair has been through all sorts of styles and colours and every few months I would normally have it chopped off and thrown in the bin. So, this all changed when I found out that I was able to gift this thick mane of luscious hair to someone who would enjoy it.
I have now been growing my hair for almost 2 years and I'm really looking forward to cutting it all off again, but this time, it will be donated and made into a wig for someone who has lost their hair due to a medical condition.
I'll be chopping off the lot when it gets to the minimum length of 35.5cm and I'm guessing this will all go down around December!
Wigs cost families up to $6,000, lasting 1-2 years, meaning families can spend tens of thousands of dollars on the purchase of wigs throughout a child’s youth. I'm pretty chuffed that I can help out, but...I just wanted to let you know that you can too!

Hair removed!
Saturday 1st Apr Hello everyone! Friday 31st March I said farewell to my luscious locks and hello to my fresh new look. The hair will soon be packaged up for it's next journey where it will eventually end with someone else. I hope the wig/s created from this heavy head of hair will bring joy and confidence to children who need it most. Thankyou for everyone's amazing donations and helping exceed the $ goal I created, I am blown away by the support! You will still be able to donate if you want to jump on board with this great cause and I would highly recommend considering a hair donation if you have plenty to give. Delayed chopping of the hair
Tuesday 7th Feb Hi guys! Sorry for the delay in the bald head. I haven't reached the desired length yet so am counting down until March to hopefully have the correct length on my luscious long locks.
