I'm chopping my hair and need your help!

I have made the decision to make a difference by cutting and donating my hair to be made into a wig for someone who has lost their hair due to a medical condition.

I'll be chopping off 36cm of hair on Saturday 11 June 2022.

Wigs cost families up to $6,000, lasting 1-2 years, meaning families can spend tens of thousands of dollars on the purchase of wigs throughout a child’s youth. By making a donation to Variety - the Children's Charity, you can help provide a wig or other vital equipment to a child in need. Thank you for helping kids in need.

Yesterday was the big day, about 40cm of hair got chopped off and will be mailed to Hair with Heart! 
Thank you to everyone who helped me smash my fundraising goal, I’m still getting donations and messages which makes me so happy! 
Together we have helped Variety to help make kids lives better! ❤️

Thank you to those who have donated to this fundraiser and have sent me messages about chopping off my hair! I am super excited for the chop and the chance to change someone’s life 💕

If you haven’t heard, I am donating my hair to Variety so it can be made into a wig for a child who has lost their hair due to a medical condition. Funds raised through my donation page will go towards wigs, camps and support for these kids in need 🥰

For me, a bad hair day can ruin my confidence and negatively impact how I feel. I can’t imagine what it’s like to lose your hair due to no fault of your own and how that must make someone feel, especially a kid. We all know how society can treat people who look different and how awful this must be for a child just because they don’t have hair. Together we can make some kid’s lives better 🌟
