I'm chopping my hair and need your help!
I have made the decision to make a difference by cutting and donating my hair to be made into a wig for someone who has lost their hair due to a medical condition.
I'll be chopping off min 35.5cm on 16/5/2020.
Wigs cost families up to $6,000, lasting 1-2 years, meaning families can spend tens of thousands of dollars on the purchase of wigs throughout a child’s youth. By making a donation to Variety - the Children's Charity, you can help provide a wig or other vital equipment to a child in need. Thank you for helping kids in need.

Sunday 17th MayOver a year ago what started out as an innocent comment by Chloe led to a much deeper curious discussion. It resulted in Chloe telling me she wanted to grow her hair to donate to the kids that could not grow or have lost their hair. Over the months I wondered if she would forget or lose interest, but even through the fun times of brushing the knots out 🤣 she never faltered and insisted it was what she wanted to do. Yesterday she finally cut off the required 36cm and has chosen Variety as her charity to donate to.
Chloe, I remember watching the videos with you of children receiving their wigs, and the look in your eyes taking it all in. You couldn’t believe something like the hair on your head could mean so much to these kids, and it was something that you could give. Chloe you make me so proud, you are always caring about everyone around you, and this is so reflective of your giving nature. We love you, Mum & Dad xxx
