I'm Chopping My Hair And Need Your Help!

I have made the decision to make a difference by cutting and donating my hair to be made into a wig for someone who has lost their hair due to a medical condition.

I'll be chopping off 35.5cm on the 12th of March

Wigs cost families up to $6,000, lasting 1-2 years, meaning families can spend tens of thousands of dollars on the purchase of wigs throughout a child’s youth. By making a donation to Variety - the Children's Charity, you can help provide a wig or other vital equipment to a child in need. Thank you for helping kids in need.

Variety has also been very close to my family over the past few years because of the support and the oppurtunities they give my younger sister.

Great Job Everyone!

Sunday 15th Mar

It has now been three days since I cut my hair and I am loving it! I ended up donating 36.5cm of hair. Thanks to everyone for helping out especially to everyone who sponsored me. We raised $826 all going to Variety. It has been an amazing experience to do this and I just want to say thank you to everyone.

Hey Everyone,

Thank you all so much for donating. So far we have raised $659. That is amazing. You all are changing so many young lives for the better. I am getting a bit nervous now about cutting my hair but I know that it will grow back quickly. Thanks so much everyone.

My First Update. 19 Days To Go

Saturday 22nd Feb

Hey Guys,

This is my first update on my hair and with only 19 days to go im getting a bit nervous. My hair has always been short during my early childhood but four years ago I decided that I would grow it out a bit more. The years went by and it was only recently when people started commenting on how long my hair was. One of my friends donated her hair a while back and I thought that it would be a great idea rather than the hair getting wasted. My target is to fundraise $200. Anymore would be an absolute blessing. The money from the fundraising goes to buying wheelchairs, making disabillity friendly playgrounds and making the wigs.
