I’m shaving off my curls and I need your support!!
Hi there, I am Cara and I have been slowly but surely
growing my curls for a few years so I can shave it all off and donate it to
people who need it more than me! It may not look like it but it is actually
pretty long, over 47cm from root to end and pulled straight.
I get compliments on my hair every day so for me this is a
very special thing to donate. I am extremely excited to share my hair with
someone who needs it. Hopefully I can put a smile on their face and boost their
confidence and feel as good as I do when I get compliments.
I have decided to not only donate my hair but to shave it
off to show my support to anyone living with a long-term medical condition. I
will be donating my curls to Hair with Heart; the donated hair is used to make wigs
for someone who has lost their hair from a long-term medical condition.
My shave date is still to be confirmed but will be around
March 11th so I hope to have raised enough money by this time!
Please help me raise as much money as I can, it is not
everyday I can shave off my curls. It may take me 10 years to grow my hair back
to this length! All the proceeds will go towards helping children who are
living with disabilities, chronic illnesses or disadvantages – so I thank you
for anything you are able to donate.
