I have made the decision to make a difference by cutting and donating my hair to be made into a wig for someone who has lost their hair due to a medical condition. My hair makes me feel confident and knowing that I might be able to help a child feel that way is very motivating.
I'll be chopping off about 16 inches on 08/11/22.
Wigs cost families up to $6,000, lasting 1-2 years, meaning families can spend tens of thousands of dollars on the purchase of wigs throughout a child’s youth. By making a donation to Variety - the Children's Charity, you can help provide a wig or other vital equipment to a child in need. Thank you for helping kids in need.

I have been planning on donating my hair for a while but it wasn’t long enough at the time, now it’s been around 3 years since my last ‘major’ hair cut. I’m looking forward to be able to help someone and relieve some of the weight on my head :)
