I'm chopping my hair and need your help!
Ava has made the decision to take the big chop and change lives!
For the third time in her short 10 years, Ava is cutting her hair, to be donated to help make wigs for children in need.
In July 2018, at 5 years old and of her own choice after seeing photos of my mum during her cancer battle, she donated her hair and raised over $3800 for Variety Children’s charity. She then caught the fundraising bug and started growing her hair again. In October 2020, now aged 7, Ava again cut her beautiful long hair to donate and this time she kept her fundraising closer to home, supporting little Rosie and her family and raising $2800 for them. She has been growing her since then, determined to donate and fundraise for a third time.
Variety – the Children’s Charity supports kids who are sick, experiencing disadvantage or living with a disability.
Ava will be donating her hair to help provide a wig to someone who has lost their hair, as well as raising vital funds for kids in need.
Every gift, no matter the amount, makes a difference.
