My daughter Ava (9) and I are chopping our hair and need your help!
My daughter Ava (9) and I have made the decision to make a difference by cutting and donating our hair to be made into a wig for someone who has lost their hair due to a medical condition.
We will be chopping off 36cm of hair each.
Wigs cost families up to $6,000, lasting 1-2 years, meaning families can spend tens of thousands of dollars on the purchase of wigs throughout a child’s youth. Sunday 7th Jun Ava was inspired to join the cause after seeing a very dear friend not only cut off her hair but shave her head for this amazing cause. As a Mum of this beautiful, kind, caring and thoughtful girl I quickly decided to support her by cutting off my own hair to support Ava.With Ava cutting off close to 40cm and myself close to 50cm we hope this will help brighten up someone’s life just a little.
