I'm chopping my hair and need your help!
I’ve made the decision to take the big chop and change lives!
Variety – the Children’s Charity supports kids who are sick, experiencing disadvantage or living with a disability.
I will be donating my hair to help provide a wig to someone who has lost their hair, as well as raising vital funds for kids in need.
Every gift, no matter the amount, makes a difference.

Progress
Sunday 3rd Nov November is here and I’m starting to see some progress in my hair growth! How exciting!Unfortunately a family friend has just past away from brain cancer so I’m grieving a new loss.
A timely reminder that young people are not immune to cancer and other medical conditions that result in hair loss.

Why I’m doing the big chop
Friday 24th May Hi All, Anne here, in the past I’ve raised money for cancer survivors, one in particular who I worked with and I shaved my hair off to raise around $400 for my friend and work colleague. That was more than a decade ago now.This year I wish to grow my hair which is a challenge in itself as my hair grows slowly and I have little patience to allow it to grow much more than my shoulder length.
However with the incentive of making a difference to someone with hair loss and cancer (especially a child) I want to grow my hair long enough to donate a wigs worth of hair.
